Murano-style polychrome glass fruit chandelier – 20th century

A spectacular decorative chandelier in the Murano taste, richly ornamented with fruits and drops in polychrome glass.

The patinated metal structure is organised around an elegant central column composed of moulded and ribbed transparent glass sections. Numerous sinuous arms extend outward, supporting an abundant decoration of blown-glass fruits: red and purple apples or pomegranates, green fruits, accompanied by long amber-yellow pendants.

The ensemble is completed by small flowers and rosettes in orange and yellow glass, creating a particularly colourful and exuberant composition, characteristic of Italian decorative light fixtures inspired by Murano.

The chandelier features several light arms with metal bobeches. The candle covers and bulbs visible in the photographs may be replaced according to preference.
