Charles Ruchot (1871–1954) was a French sculptor active in Paris from the late 19th century through the 1920s. Trained in a craft environment — his father being a moulder — he developed a style blending allegory, decorative figures and stylised animals, most often in bronze or spelter. He produced numerous statuettes, mantel clocks and decorative subjects, including his celebrated birds in flight. He later settled in Romainville, where he continued working until his death in 1954.
