Palissandre Art Deco salon cabinet – 1940

This Art Deco piece is distinguished by its rosewood, with its deep, warm grain, combined with the elegance of the geometric lines typical of the period. The central section features a display cabinet with a mirrored back that amplifies light and adds depth to the whole, while two glass shelves allow decorative objects or collectibles to be displayed with excellent visibility. Below the cabinet, three spacious drawers are perfectly aligned, each fitted with original chrome handles that add the touch of modernity characteristic of the Art Deco style. On either side, two large lateral doors open onto generous storage spaces, each equipped with two rack-adjustable shelves, offering ideal modularity for organizing tableware, linens or bulky items. The locks are fully functional. The whole is crowned by a wide brèche marble top, whose natural hues and veining lend a luxurious presence and a harmonious contrast with the dark wood.
