Mountain pine bonnetière
Fine Louis-Philippe bonnetière in solid pine, of mountain-country tradition,
featuring a sober and sturdy construction characteristic of Alpine rural furniture.
The façade is enhanced by an elegant moulded surround and a slightly projecting cornice,
framing the solid-panel door.

The door, hung on period hinges, opens onto an interior fitted with a shelf
and a hanging rail. The sides display a fine construction with grain,
knots and natural irregularities that attest to the authenticity of the piece and its long use.

The whole rests on four straight, slightly splayed feet, extended by a low moulded stretcher.
The warm patina, in honey and golden-blonde hues, is particularly harmonious and beautifully
highlights the pine grain.

A typical Alpine storage piece, both decorative and functional.
