An elegant Chinese camphorwood cabinet dating from the 1950s, entirely decorated with deeply carved relief panels depicting scenes of traditional life, pagodas, bridges, figures and landscapes. The carvings adorn both the front and sides, offering a refined decorative scheme visible from every angle.

This piece features a distinctive original design: the upper section rotates 360° on its base, allowing for a variety of display and usage configurations. It opens via four doors with concealed handles, revealing a practical storage interior. This type of cabinet, inspired by traditional Chinese furniture, was crafted in camphorwood, prized for its natural fragrance and its protective properties against insects.

The cabinet rests on a carved base decorated with dragons and traditional motifs, finished with cabriole feet. It retains a fine original patina. Some wear and surface scuffs consistent with age and use are noted, principally to the lower section and the back; these are visible in the photographs and do not affect the piece's stability or appeal.
