Important glazed stoneware vase by Les Potiers d'Accolay, the iconic French post-war ceramics manufacturer.

This model is distinguished by its elegant globular body resting on a small foot, its tall flared neck articulated with mouldings, and its two broad lateral handles, in a spirit inspired by antique forms reinterpreted through 1950s design.

It is covered in a superb golden-brown glaze with nuanced caramel and amber highlights, characteristic of Accolay's production during this period. The quality of the glaze and the generous proportions give it a strong decorative presence.

The original label "Les Potiers d'Accolay – Made in France" remains on the neck. The underside bears an old collection inscription.

A beautiful decorative object, equally suited to large floral arrangements or display as a standalone piece.

Condition:
Very good overall condition. A few very light traces of wear and isolated minute glaze chips visible on the neck, with no impact on the aesthetic. No cracks or restorations.
