An elegant bombe-front commode in the Louis XV style, veneered in rosewood and purplewood arranged in frising.

The serpentine facade opens with three large drawers arranged over three rows, highlighted by fine chiselled bronze escutcheons and drawer pulls.

The stiles are adorned with gilt bronze drop mounts decorated with female mascaron motifs, while the sabots and lower stretcher feature high-quality rocaille ornament.

The facade presents the beautifully curved line characteristic of the Louis XV taste.

It is surmounted by a superb moulded marble top in nuanced cream and beige tones, perfectly proportioned to the piece.
