Elegant three-drawer bombe chest of drawers in the Louis XV taste.

It features rich geometric marquetry in fine wood veneers, enhanced by an extensive suite of decorative bronze mounts: drop handles, escutcheons, corner mounts and a central crossrail ornament.

The top is fitted with a beautiful marble slab in tones of pink, beige and grey, moulded around the perimeter.

The sides are bombe and veneered, in keeping with the tradition of French tombeau commodes.

The harmonious proportions and quality of the marquetry are consistent with fine craftsmanship from the early 20th century, inspired by 18th-century models.
