A very fine Louis XV Provençal buffet in richly carved solid walnut, French work of the 19th century.

This piece features an elegantly shaped front opening by means of two doors and four frieze drawers.

The whole is adorned with abundant carved decoration of scrolling foliage, leaves, shells and moulded panels in the regional Louis XV taste.

The panelled doors with shaped outlines are framed by carved uprights and rest on cabriole legs ending in scrolled feet.

Superb quality cabinetmaking with a magnificent walnut displaying warm tones and a rich, deep antique patina.


The bronze fittings and drawer pulls contribute to the overall elegance of the piece.

The top presents a beautifully shaped profile, and the piece offers generous storage capacity.
