Bureau Plat

Louis XVI-style bureau plat in ash veneer, 20th century.
It opens with four drawers (double drawer on the right) and two pull-out writing leaves on each side.
Drawers adorned with geometric inlaid stringing in a diamond pattern.
It rests on four tapering legs with bronze sabots.
Visible on all sides, the rear face simulates a drawer front.
Bronze escutcheons, brass knobs.
The top surface and pull-out leaves are covered with their original dark green coated canvas with ornamental decoration.

Please note: No key.
Condition consistent with age and use on the coated canvas, as visible in the photographs.
