Rare pair of Art Nouveau decorative plates by Alfons Mucha (1860-1939) in painted terracotta, depicting two portraits of women each holding a flower, the whole highly characteristic of Art Nouveau with its floral forms and natural ochre-brown tones heightened with green. Signed lower right on one of the plates. In very fine condition.
