Rare pair of Art Nouveau decorative plates by Alfons Mucha (1860-1939) in painted terracotta, depicting two portraits of women each holding a flower, the whole highly characteristic of the Art Nouveau style with flowing floral forms, in natural ochre-brown tones heightened with green, signed lower right on one of the plates, in very fine condition.
