Wooden Architect's Or Surveyor's Plan Cabinet, Late 19th Century.

A rare and important architect's plan cabinet from the late 19th century. It is made of solid wood (probably pine or fir). The cabinet opens at the front with a large series of flat, stacked drawers (ideal for storing plans, engravings, drawings, prints, or liturgical textiles). Each drawer has its original brass handles, with a simple and functional design, characteristic of professional furniture of this period. There are 12 drawers. Dimensions: Height: 173 cm; Width: 145.5 cm; Depth: 86 cm. Drawer: 121 x 75 cm.
