Navy writing case made of violet wood veneer and inlays of brass threads.
It opens in two parts giving it a steep angle to write and discovering a surface covered with red leather covering two flaps, in addition to 3 compartments for ink and writing. One of the flaps locks and the other by a latch system and under these there are 2 separate lockers.
The lock is signed "GR BRAMAH PATENT" and the flap has an inner label "T. BRIGGS, manufacturer # 27, PICCADILLY".
It has on its sides foldable rectangular handles.

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and patina waxed on a hard bottom in our workshop.
