Small sideboard serving very high quality Louis XVI style solid mahogany of Cuba with veneer in front of drawers and door. Its top, very heavy, in violet Breche marble is cut with projections and molded in throat and is a thickness of 4 cm.
It opens with 3 drawers in belt, all framed by Ebony Macassar and bronze rods molded and beaded and have round beaded handles. Their original locks are signed "SCHMIT & Cie Paris".
The open sides have a half-height shelf inlaid with an ebony net, as do the two low shelves. The funds are molded.
It also opens with a framed central door, like drawers, ebony and bronze and locking by a high and low lock. The interior is composed of a removable shelf placed on racks.
The front pillars, in quarter-round at the top, embellished with bronze, are molded and descend into rudented columns. The rear pillars, in rectangular sessions, are also fluted and rudent.
The high-quality Oak back is paneled and rests on 4 turned, sheathed and fluted legs with rings and bronze shoes.
