Very refined game cabinet in Thuya magnifying glass with its top adorned with a pattern inlaid brass, ebony and mother-of-pearl with engraved initials.
It opens on a mahogany interior composed of 4 rectangular and compartmental side compartments and a central container in saucer, all removable in Rosewood.
Each one has its respective round and rectangular bone pieces, yellow, green, purple and red, as well as larger mother-of-pearl pieces.
The lid lined with quarter-round brass inlays is equipped with a compass allowing it to hold open alone.
Period: Second half XIXth / Napoleon III.
Perfect condition after stripping and waxed finish on a hard bottom in our workshop.
