Small serving furniture in-between Louis XVI style inlaid with its white Carrara marble top and lined with a brass openwork gallery.
It opens with three drawers belt inlaid rosewood, rosewood Rio and lemon nets. The two swivel sides are cut in quarter round and decorated with fine buttons and the central drawer locks.
It also has two side leaves flanked by a thin shelf on each side, also quarter-round.
Two small central doors clad in a rosewood butterfly wing and framed by Rosewood are surrounded by flat flats with false grooves inlaid with Ebony and Mahogany. They open on an interior consisting of a thin shelf placed on fixed brackets and lock as well as a high and low closure inside the left door.
It rests on 4 tapered legs with false grooves inlaid with ebony and with small brass hooves.
Period: Middle nineteenth.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping, waxed on a hard bottom and varnished finish in our workshop.
