Step office Louis XVI style, NAPOLEON III period, blackened wood with inlays of brass nets and moldings in chiseled bronze.
The step is surrounded on 3 sides by a perforated gallery of brass; it opens with 4 small drawers, mahogany interior.
Writing drawer in the belt. The top, measuring 67cm X 34cm, is wrapped in a red leather with a golden vignette (which has been changed).
It rests on 4 tapered legs with grooves rudentées at the top and ringed with engraved bronze.

Perfect condition after restoration, varnished finish hard bottom and waxed. Lock and key in working order.
