Description

Leon Boudot, francomtoise painter was a pupil of Louis Français and Gustave Courbet.
Present at the Salon from 1877 to 1924, he participated in the Universal Exhibitions of 1899 and 1900.
His paintings are in museums Besanon, Nancy, Reims, Nimes, Cannes and in U.S. public and private collections ( sources P Cabanne-G Schurr)
Harvesting is a theme that likes Boudot. He paints nature with realism. Here, the successively plans between shaded and sunny this afternoon with a heat lulls nature, before the storm clouds come and wake her up out of his torpor.
