Two portraits of Spanish Orientalist painter Luis Anglada Pinto (Barcelona 1873 - 1946 ).
The portrait of men (46/38 cm) is signed to the left and dated to the back (1921)
The portrait of women (46/43) is signed to the right.

L PINTO ANGLADA is a painter of Spanisn Orientalist school.
Student of Antonio Caba at the school of fine Arts in Barcelona, he will remain friends with José Maria SERT and Pablo PICASSO.
He traveld to Rome and Paris.
It is in the french capital that carries a set of Orientalism paintings called " Persians miniatures"
It is in theses qualities he reaches detail similar to that of photography.
