Louis XVI Style Flat-Top Desk

Louis XVI style flat-top desk (bureau plat) in mahogany, 20th century.
Opens with two drawers and two pull-out slides on each side.
Rests on four tapered fluted legs ending in bronze sabots.
Fluted uprights.
Finished on all sides.
Drawers trimmed with brass beading.
Bronze escutcheons.
All locks are fully functional, each with its own key.
Top and pull-out slides covered in leather.
Please note: Small stain on the leather of the left-hand slide, slight depression in the leather at the centre of the top — both visible in the photographs.
