Superb and rare large rectangular mirror in glazed ceramic, created by the renowned French ceramicist Marion de Crécy within the workshop of her mother, Mithé Espelt, in Lunel.
This spectacular piece stands out for its exceptional format of 73 cm in height by 52.5 cm in width, considerably larger and rarer than the workshop's standard models.
Circa 1970–1980
Stamped terracotta, coloured enamels and touches of crackle gold typical of the atelier. Design: modernist geometric composition in warm shades of caramel, beige and terracotta, enhanced by textured reliefs and contrasting cabochons.
Very good overall condition.
The colours have retained all their original vibrancy and brilliance.
A major and highly decorative collector's piece, ideal for lovers of 20th-century design and French art ceramics.
