Louis XV / Régence style carved and gilt console table, Provençal, 18th century

This ceremonial carved and gilt console table in the Provençal Louis XV / Régence style (Aix-en-Provence or Marseille) features openwork rocaille ornaments.
Carved limewood gilt with gold leaf, surmounted by a grey-veined marble top (restored but original).
(Rococo / Louis XV), with central shell motifs, rinceaux, scrolls and floral drops.
Cabriole legs and stretchers richly pierced and carved, joined by a shaped undertier stretcher centred by a carved vase with flowers.
A label on the console frame identifying the cabinetmaker or owner of the period.
