PAINTING oil on canvas depicting "The Death of Elizabeth, Queen of England" in 1603, after the French painter Paul DELAROCHE, completed circa 1848.
This painting portrays the dying queen surrounded by her ladies-in-waiting and courtiers.
The queen is said to have died of melancholy and illness.
The whole presented in a stuccoed and gilded frame.
It is noted here that the original is held at the Musée du Louvre in PARIS.
