Mahogany washstand, 19th century

Napoleon III period mahogany washstand in very good condition. This bow-sided piece opens via two central doors, two side doors, and two drawers. Originally fitted with a recessed basin — a very typical feature of 19th-century washstands. We are offering it here with a marble top on which a countertop basin can be fitted (we have included a photo with a period basin and ewer to better illustrate the proportions).
