Pair of Louis XVI style bergères by Mailfert, high-back model in light wood. These highly comfortable bergères have been entirely reupholstered; the cushions are reversible and removable covers. Finished with antique gilt nailhead trim. Seat height: 41 cm. Each bergère bears the iron stamp of the salamander, the maker's mark of cabinetmaker André Mailfert (1884–1943).
