Exceptionally rare on the market, especially with its stools.

The brass inlay at the base was repainted by a previous owner.
The piece can be easily disassembled and reassembled for shipping.

Jean-Claude Mahey (1944–1992)

Born in 1944, Jean-Claude Mahey was a French designer celebrated for his elegant creations, employing refined materials such as lacquer, burr wood veneers, marble, glass, copper, and polished brass.
He designed furniture, lighting and accessories for prestigious clients including Hermès, Pierre Cardin and Saks Fifth Avenue.
His work is distinguished by clean, elegant lines and particularly refined detailing.
Jean-Claude Mahey won numerous awards, including the prestigious Prix René Gabriel in 1977.
He passed away in 1992. His pieces remain highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
