DUTCH LOUIS XV CHEST OF DRAWERS - 18TH CENTURY -

DUTCH COMMODE, Louis XV period – 18th century, in oak, with a bowed front and sides, opening with three large drawers fitted with ring pull handles, keyhole escutcheons decorated with a Dutch figure surmounted by a Louis XVI bow. The front features a fine floral marquetry decoration. The crow's-beak top displays a central floral urn motif, surrounded by a marquetry border with a small flower set within a corolla at each corner. The whole rests on so-called "snail" feet.
