Louis XVI Style Chest of Drawers with Slight Central Breakfront

Louis XVI style chest of drawers with a slight central breakfront, veneered in rosewood and mahogany over an oak carcass. The facade features a gentle projecting section and opens with three large drawers arranged in three rows, framed by light wood stringing, with ring pull handles and gilt bronze escutcheons and locks. The stiles are fluted and enriched with gilt bronze foliate drops, resting on ring-turned toupie feet with bronze sabots. The top is fitted with a white veined marble slab.
