Louis XV style bookcase in walnut, oak and beech, circa 1880

The front opens with two glazed doors over wooden bases, separated by a fixed central mullion with cartouche and flanked by rounded uprights also featuring cartouches. The upper rail is inlaid with two stars and a central heart, surmounted by a moulded cornice, and the whole piece rests on four cabriole legs joined by shaped lower stretchers. The panelled sides enclose an interior fitted with three adjustable shelves on rack supports. Dimensions: Height: 197 cm, Width: 142 cm, Depth: 52 cm
