Description

An exceptional piece of furniture, this stained plane wood plant stand sets itself apart through its finely worked pierced carvings and remarkable decorative presence. The square top features a veined griotte marble slab, framed by a finely chiselled and moulded geometric band.
The apron, entirely pierced, unfolds a network of rinceaux, volutes and floral motifs, each face enriched with a finely repoussé bronze medallion depicting a lion. The four cabriole legs, carved with foliate motifs, terminate in stylised claw feet, lending the whole a slender and elegant silhouette.
A pierced stretcher shelf, centred on a bronze medallion depicting a fine bird in flight surrounded by clouds, reinforces the stability of the piece while further enriching its decorative character. The whole bears testament to the careful craftsmanship of skilled artisans.
A refined decorative piece, ideal for displaying a vase, a plant or an objet d'art, this plant stand combines quality of execution, ornamental richness and exotic charm.
