Description

This Art Deco buffet captivates at first glance with its elegant silhouette and the harmony of its materials. The body of the piece is crafted in rosewood with vivid, deeply graphic grain, displaying a play of natural movement reminiscent of the most refined creations of the 1940s. The doors, punctuated by undulating figuring, lend the whole a warm and sophisticated presence.
The line is deliberately restrained: full volumes, a perfectly smooth façade, sober yet elegant metal handles, and balanced proportions that firmly anchor the piece in the modernist aesthetic of the period. Inside, two levels of storage offer generous capacity. The shelf rests on adjustable brackets for ideal height setting. The working lock is accompanied by a minimalist key.
The top in black brèche marble, animated by pale veins and contrasting fragments, adds a luxurious, mineral dimension. Its polished surface catches the light and enters into dialogue with the warmth of the wood, creating a contrast quintessential to the Art Deco style: the union of the natural and the precious, the geometric and the organic.
