Pair of Rosewood Marquetry Bedside Tables, Louis XV Style – Second Half of the 20th Century

These two rosewood marquetry bedside tables feature the characteristic cabriole lines of the Louis XV style, with harmonious curves and a delicately balanced silhouette. Each piece is adorned with refined floral marquetry executed in precious woods with warm, rich tones that bring out the natural depth of the rosewood. The drawers are fitted with finely chiselled bronze handles, while the cabriole legs end in bronze sabots and chutes that further accentuate the elegance of the ensemble. The tops are dressed with veined marble whose soft yellow and pink tones add an additional touch of nobility and luminosity.
