Naturalistic Chandelier with Birds, Flowers and Foliage, Painted Sheet Metal and Saxon Porcelain, Art Nouveau Style, circa 1950

Charming naturalistic six-arm chandelier crafted in painted sheet metal and patinated metal, in the spirit of creations by the house of Hans Kögl and the decorative productions of the mid-20th century.

The structure is composed of stems fashioned as plant branches, adorned with foliage and stylised flowers.

The sinuous arms support bamboo-effect nozzles, each finished with a candle cup in the form of a gilded corolla.

The upper section is decorated with a remarkable arrangement of large stylised mushrooms with finely textured and gilded caps, creating a particularly striking decorative effect.

At the centre sits a polychrome porcelain bird perched on a flowering branch, lending a poetic and refined touch to the whole.

With its naturalistic aesthetic and forest-inspired decoration, this chandelier is a distinctive decorative piece, ideally suited to a library, a country house or an eclectic interior.
