Elegant period Empire armchair in solid mahogany, displaying the restrained and balanced lines characteristic of the first quarter of the 19th century.

The slightly reclined straight back is upholstered in green fabric with a geometric pattern, matched to the seat cushion.

The scroll armrests rest on remarkable carved supports in the form of consoles adorned with stylised water leaves, a detail typical of Empire furniture inspired by Antiquity.
