Large Louis XV Style Desk

Large Louis XV style desk in marquetry wood, early 20th century. The top is edged with a gilt bronze molding with floral spandrels, original havana-colored leather decorated with wheel tooling and showing traces of use. The four cabriole legs are adorned with gilt bronze mounts depicting female figures. Three frieze drawers to the front. The visitor's side features false drawers. The legs terminate in gilt bronze lion's paw feet.
