Empire Console Table in Mahogany and White Marble – Restauration Period
An elegant Restauration-period console table in flame mahogany, resting on two scroll uprights terminating in boldly carved lion's paw feet. The shaped lower stretcher harmoniously connects the supports and reinforces the overall stability.

The top is fitted with a fine veined white marble slab with a softened ogee edge, perfectly suited to the sober and monumental line of the piece. The flame mahogany veneers display a remarkable figuring with rich, lustrous reflections.

This console table perfectly illustrates the transition between the Empire and Restauration styles, combining the vigour of antique forms with a lighter elegance. It will find its place in an entrance hall, a drawing room or a quality classical interior.
