Elegant period Empire armchair in solid walnut, raised on four sabre legs to the rear and slightly curved legs to the front.

The back comprises three curved crossrails offering the clean, harmonious line characteristic of the Empire style. The scroll armrests accentuate the elegance of the silhouette.

The seat is caned in perfect condition, executed in keeping with traditional techniques.

Beautiful warm patina to the walnut and very fine quality of execution.
