Service de table en porcelaine XIX 112 pièces signées Hache Pépin-Lehalleur

Large porcelain dinner service, exceptional in both quality and number of pieces, from the renowned Hache et Pépin Lehalleur manufactory in Vierzon and Paris, 19th century. White porcelain decorated with a double gilt fillet framing a parma-coloured line. The handles and finials of the serving pieces are gilded and highlighted with elegant black palmettes and lambrequins. This service comprises 112 pieces. The name Hache Pépin-Lehalleur is synonymous with quality and prestige. The firm was established in Paris on the Place Vendôme, one of the capital's foremost addresses for luxury, and became an ambassador of French craftsmanship. In his report on the Vienna Universal Exhibition of 1873, Victor Albert de Luynes wrote: "MM. Hache et Pépin-Lehalleur represented, with the most recent advances and with great perfection, the manufacture of French hard-paste porcelain." Circa 1845–1872. We also have a dessert service from the same period and the same manufactory, comprising 51 plates, 10 compotiers and a covered cream pot, all in the same pattern (gilt and parma) with a floral and butterfly decoration (photographs and price on request).
