Late 19th-century gilt wood basket canapé in the Louis XVI style.
It rests on four tapered fluted legs with reeded details.
Scrolled armrests adorned with acanthus leaf carvings.
Upholstered in blue gaufraged velvet with a medallion pattern, in perfect condition.
Please note: the upholstery, webbing and velvet are recent.
We have carried out a thorough hot-water extraction clean.
A comfortable canapé; the seat cushion is filled with feathers.
A pair of cabriolet armchairs is available, sold separately.
