Antique Polished Steel Shop Display Cabinet, Early 20th Century

Display cabinet in polished steel. Fine cornice mouldings at top and bottom. Opens via a large door on the left, locking with a key.

Reveals three large removable shelves, adjustable in height (minor chipping on one). The corners of the cabinet are rounded and formed from curved glass.

The back features a full mercury mirror, extending across the entire rear surface and the interior base.

At the rear, a large painted steel panel protects the cabinet. Superior quality display cabinet.

Fine state of preservation. Minor chipping on the shelves. Very slight crack at the bottom of the right-hand door.

First-rate French work from the early 20th century (circa 1900–1910).
