Large Louis XVI-style flat-top desk

Louis XVI-style flat-top desk (bureau plat) in mahogany and mahogany veneer, double-sided, with two lateral pull-out slides. The façade opens with five drawers, each fitted with a working lock; three keys are included. The rounded-corner top and the pull-out slides are covered in fine havana leather tooled in gilt, in very good condition. The drawers, sides and back are embellished with brass beading. The back simulates five brass-beaded drawers. The four fluted, leather-wrapped legs end in brass sabots. Pull-out slide dimensions: 60 cm × 32 cm. Height below the central drawer: 61 cm.
