Large Louis XVI-style flat-top desk

Louis XVI-style flat-top desk (bureau plat) in mahogany and mahogany veneer, double-sided, with two lateral pull-out leaves and five drawers to the front. Each drawer is fitted with a working lock; three keys included. The rounded-corner top and the pull-out leaves are covered in fine havana leather tooled in gilt, in very good condition. The drawers, sides and back are decorated with brass mouldings. The back simulates five brass-moulded drawers. The four fluted, leather-covered legs end in brass sabots.
