Louis XV style bureau plat, 19th century

Small marquetry bureau plat veneered in rosewood crossbanding, opening with three frieze drawers, raised on four cabriole legs, the top lined with leather and edged with a fine gilt bronze gallery. The piece is enriched with gilt bronze mounts featuring scrolling foliage and rinceaux. Oak carcase. Louis XV style, 19th century. This piece retains its original condition and shows condition consistent with age and use on the leather.
