Set of Four Louis XVI Style Armchairs

Set of four Louis XVI style armchairs – 19th century, of medallion form with open arms. In grey painted and sculpted moulded wood highlighted with gilding. Resting on four cable-fluted legs surmounted by a rosette on a die. Arm supports with foliate carving. Back surmounted by a carved decoration of rose blooms. Upholstered throughout in beige and gold studded silk. Frame and silk upholstery in very good overall condition.
