Set of Four Louis XVI Style Armchairs

Set of four Louis XVI style armchairs – 19th century, of medallion form with armrests. In grey painted, sculpted and moulded wood highlighted with gilding. Raised on four fluted cable-moulded legs surmounted by a rosette on a die. Arm uprights carved with foliage. Back surmounted by a carved decoration of rose flowers. Upholstered throughout in beige and gold studded silk. Frame and silk in very good overall condition.
