NAPOLEON III secretary in marquetry of Violetwood and Rosewood decorated with flowers, foliage and ribbons in boxwood marquetry, light wood and stained wood.
Red marble top, many brass moldings and uprights adorned with bronze falls.
It opens with 1 drawer belt, a flap and two leaves in the lower part with lock two points.
The flap, covered with an original red velvet, discovers a mahogany theater with 3 lockers and 4 drawers whose front is highlighted by a brass net.
The lower part, mahogany interior, is furnished with a shelf, the field with double brass thread.
On the back in oak is affixed the stamp: "House ROLL IRENEE MAUGRAS and Cie FURNITURE PARIS 42, Faubourg t Antoine".
Period: second half of the nineteenth

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and varnished finish.
Locks and keys in working order.
