Bureau-Scriban Louis XV - Louis XVI marquetry of rosewood and amaranth, with lemon and stained wood nets cut with "Greek" cuts at the corners.
It opens with a flap, two drawers - framing a marquetry simulating a drawer - and 2 doors at the bottom.
The flap of animated shape, held by iron compasses and measuring 77cm long X 39 / 43cm is wrapped in a brown leather; he discovers a theater in gilded oak composed of 6 small drawers in staircase (facade in rosewood), a locker and a sliding hatch accessing a secret compartment.
The interior of the lower part, also in oak, is furnished with a shelf.
It rests on 4 curved legs, those of the front adorned with bronze shoes.
Lock inlets and bronze keys in working order.
Period: late eighteenth century.
Perfect condition after restoration of the whole, stripping and finish clear varnished hard bottom.
