Marcel Debut was born on 27 March 1865 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris and died on 28 July 1933 in Le Vaudreuil; he was a French sculptor and painter.
He trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
In 1885 he received an honourable mention at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member.
