ART NOUVEAU PERIOD CLOCK

Exceptional art nouveau fireplace clock mahogany Cuba moiré, decorated with brass inlay fillets and decoration of three flowers on the front.
The white background dial is signed "L.Leroy & Cie" and below, "7 Bd de la Madeleine in Paris".
Inner watchmaking is numbered.
It rests on 4 feet in the shape of brass discs.

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and patina in our workshop. The mechanism works.

L.Leroy is a luxury watch brand founded in Paris in 1785 by Basile-Charles Leroy. The Leroy house is thus supplier of the French imperial family from 1805 then many crowned heads during the century.
Having become Leroy et Fils in 1828, then L. Leroy & Cie in 1889, the Leroy company is at the origin of several remarkable timepieces, such as the Leroy watch by Louis Leroy, Jury's special prize at the World's Fair. 1900, or chronometers Chronostat chronometers.
